I never imagined...

First I never imagined I'd ever have a baby.

Then I never imagined how tired I would be, and how scary it was at times. And I never imagined how easy it would get so quickly, and how much love I could feel for this little thing.

I never imagined I would join a 'mommy and babies' group during my maternity leave, and grow to love it so much that I cried over missing that more than my baby when I went back to work!

I also never imagined how natural it would feel to hold my baby and take care of her... that she really feels like a part of me.

And at this stage I really can't imagine doing it again - Amy is more than enough for now!

General update

Amy turned 5 months old today and is growing up so fast!

She is grabbing at everything now and is teething, so we give her a carrot or mange tout to chew on and she loves it (see pics).

She's not eating solids yet - we tried giving her cereal last week and she hated it so we're gonna wait a bit and give her veggies soon.

She is so cute - laughs and giggles all the time, and is FINALLY sleeping well at night (phew!).
